Start by closing your platform. Next, install the TAS software files by clicking the DOWNLOAD button below and follow the on-screen instructions (i.e. next, proceed). During the installation, you will also be prompted to install Microsoft C++ runtime and proceed with this. If you are prompted with a Microsoft C++ error message, it may be caused by the fact that you already have the most recent version and you may ignore it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: On the "Installation Folder" step, you'll be prompted to select the folder to install TAS Indicators files. You'll need to change the folder location and directory path from the default location to the folder that matches your version of TradeStation.
After running the installer, please open TradeStation and go to the “File” menu and select “Import/Export Easy Language.” Then find the “TASIndicators.ELD” file in C:/Windows and proceed to install it. Accept the defaults and “Ok/Proceed” on any subsequent windows until the installation is complete.
While using TAS Indicators, you must remain logged into our required TAS Launch Pad program. Locate the TAS logo triangle shortcut on your desktop that says “TAS Launch Pad," then click and enter your login details. You received the login via a welcome email when subscribing.
IMPORTANT NOTE: After you're logged in, you may minimize the Launch Pad program window while using the indicators but you should avoid closing it. There is a convenient option to "Remember Me" so the program retains your credentials for future login. If you accidentally logout or close the program, simply login again.
After installing the indicator files to your computer and logging into the TAS Launch Pad, you can restart your charting platform. Now it's time to add the TAS Indicators to your charts. View the short video to the right for a quick tutorial on how to insert the indicators on your chart.
